What a great time to be in New York City!  The sun has finally gone down, the leaves are beginning to fall, the nights are drawing in and people are gearing up for the Fall holiday season – Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Selwyn – half the team of Loving New York – last month put together a whole article entitled Things to do in New York in October detailing his recommendations. This includes: food, wine and outdoors festivals, open houses and a whole lot more.

Likewise, Jennifer Picht of Time Out  wrote an article entitled NYC Events in October 2018. She focused on “the Village Halloween Parade, food fests” and other related events. She described the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze as being “an army of more than 7,000 glowing, intricately carved pumpkins shining along the riverside near Van Cortlandt Manor. This is the tristate area’s most spirited Halloween happening, and also one of the best fall day trips from NYC. Ogling pretty gourds isn’t the only draw.”

So there really is much to do this month in New York…get out there and enjoy it!
