Reaping the Benefits of Tourism

Tourism is always high in New York City and the summer is no different. There were 62.8 million visitors in 2017, which was “the eighth consecutive year it earned record-breaking tourism.” As such, NYC clearly makes an effort in all it has to offer in the leisure/entertainment industry and locals can benefit from this as much as tourists. Here, we take a look at some of the highly recommended events.

Opry City Stage is happening on Times Square. Pick from a variety of shows featuring Marc Vincent Sica, Rodney Foster and more. Don’t forget Central Park and its free outdoor concerts over the summer. The 2018 SummerStage Performance series began in May and is continuing until the end of September. There is really something for everyone there.

Last week began The Rosé Mansion event. This 14 room pop up museum is held in midtown (at what was once a two story Charming Charlie) and features a different experience in each room, providing an educational experience on learning more about rosé and its history. You can “bathe” in rose petals, customize your wine, smell the roses (for real) and a whole lot more.

Don’t be stressed about tourism in New York over the summer….use it to your advantage!
